HEEF at 10 Years

For 10 years the Hopi Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) has been working to provide educational opportunities for the Hopi people. As a tribally chartered non-profit of the Hopi Tribe, the HEEF's core initiatives are to increase our base of support and increase the number of scholarships we award to Hopi students.

On November 4, 2010 the HEEF celebrates our 10th anniversary with a special event in Flagstaff, AZ at the Museum of Northern Arizona. Our theme for our 10th Anniversary centers around four words that recognize our growth to this point and our dreams for the future: Honor, Celebrate, Imagine and Realize. We envision honoring our past, celebrating our achievements, imagining our future and realizing our potential.

Over the past ten years, hundreds of students have received support from the HEEF. Imagine the impact that the HEEF support has had on those students and the students to come in the next ten years. The impact will not only affect the student, but will have a positive ripple effect for their families and the entire community. Our graduates demonstrate that education is the key to social and economic renewal for the Hopi people.
