Funding Process: From Donor to Student

1. Gifts are received from various sources, which include donors, foundations, as well as dedicated lease payments to the Hopi Tribe.

2. Individual gifts are then deposited into the HEEF Investment Account, joining the gifts of others.

3. Interest is then generated from all gifts in the investment account.

4. From interest generated, funding is then granted to various educational programs of the Hopi Tribe.

5. Programs then grant individual awards to students.
