Greetings everyone, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our inaugural, Virtual Run starting on September 16th! Our theme for 2022 has focused on Running and how it has helped some of our Hopi athletes work towards a college degree in their educational journey.

Our event, Running for Strength-Pride-Education, speaks to the significance of running in the Hopi Culture. We hope that you will support the HEEF by going to the following link to register:

By registering, you will receive a Race Packet! The items in the packet include a race bib, a Strength-Pride-Education Race Medal, Race Bag, & T-shirt. As well as other small items such as snacks for the Children. Adults is a $35 entry fee and for kids it is $30.

We are limited on shirt sizes, in order to get the size shirt, you want, be sure to register immediately. Thank you-Askwali-Kwakwa.

The Hopi Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) was established in 2000 as a segregated fund of the Hopi Tribe. It operates under a Hopi tribal ordinance as a public benefit program for exclusively educational and charitable purposes. Under Section 7871 of the Internal Revenue Code, tribal government instrumentalities, such as HEEF, may receive tax deductible donations from individuals and corporations, qualified charitable distributions from individual retirement accounts, and grants that count as qualifying distributions from private foundations. For more than 22 years, the HEEF has been building a fund that ensures opportunities for education will always be available for Hopi students.
